Tim Montgomery - A reason for Marion Jones cheating?

Marion jones was a very big talent and could have been as good as she wanted to without taking stereoids. That makes me wonder why she did it. I have thought about it for a while and can not come up with any good reason.

However, I think it was the people around her that made her do it. One of the persons that I blame the most is Tim Montgomery. Tim and Marion was together for a while and they even have a child called Tim Jr. Montgomery has admitted that he has taken drugs from BALCO. Tim was a big part of making the life of marion jones be so bad as it is today!

The Life Of Marion Jones

Today I will tell you the story about one of the biggest cheaters of all time. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I give you the life of Marion Jones.

Marion Jones was born on October 12, 1975. She grew up in Los Angeles, California. When she was young she didn't just run, marion also played basketball. At the age of 15 she was better than most of the other highschool athletes in both sports. During her years at university of north carolina at chapel hill she fall in love with one of the track coaches, CJ hunter. They married eachother October 3, 1998.

After that the preparation for the Sidney Olympics started. Everything worked out well. When the olympic games was over she had won no more than 5 gold medals! But for CJ it was a diffrent story, he had failed 4 of the drugtests during the olympics. And was suspended from the meeting. Some say that this was the reason for their devorcement, yes, they leaved eatch other in 2002. Marion did not want to be connected with drugs.

Later Jones found a new man, Tim Montgomery. They had a child together in 2003, that is why marion jones missed the 2003 world championchips. She kept on training for the 2004 athenes summer olympics. But when that time camed she did not do as well as in 2000. This time Montgomery was suspended after positive drug tests. It seems like everyone around marion jones has used doping or steroids.

Later on, at the 2006 USA track and field championchips one of Jones drug tests showed a positive result. She denied it but she did not run anymore due to "personal reasons".

In 2007 marion admitted that she had used steroids during 2000 summer olympics. All her olympic gold medals was taken away from her and now does not event have much money left. When she was as best she could make about 80.000$ per race plus a lot of money from other deals, all that is gone now. Marion Jones life is not easy today but she has only her self to blame.

This was a very short summary of the life of marion jones. She was a very big talent and I belive she could have been very good without doping but she had wrong kind of people around her. Marion Jones track career can be remembered as an example that you should not take after!
